We'll have games, food, Irish performances, an outdoor market, a live DJ, and more. This event is free and open to the public of all ages.

St. Patrick day parade

Houston's St. Patrick's Day Parade is rooted firmly in the city's heritage. The first parades date back to the 1880's when the parade started in "Irish Town" by old St. Patrick's Church. Flags, bands and marchers would march to Market Square for a day of fun, games, music, food and drink. The people spilled in and out of the various pubs in Market Square. In 1960, radio personalities, Tim Nolan and Bob Bryant announced a St. Patrick's Day Parade.‍

If that wasn't enough, Seltzerland will also be holding a ticketed Seltzer Festival in our Barbara Jordan Plaza! ‍

Schedule:‍

11am to 6pm | Southwest Parking Lot

A free outdoor curated market by POST Flea with local vendors, artisans, games, balloon artists, face painting, and more.

‍12pm to 2:30pm | Southwest Parking Lot

The 62nd Annual Houston St. Patrick's Parade takes off from POST at 12pm. The parade will make it's way through Downtown and return to our Southwest Parking lot around 1:30pm. The Official Parade Award Ceremony to award floats and participants will begin around 2pm.

2:30pm to 3:00pm | Southwest Parking Lot

Irish Folk Dance performance‍

3:30pm to 4pm | Southwest Parking Lot

Irish Folk Dance performance‍

11am to 2:30pm | Barbara Jordan Front Plaza

Seltzerland Festival - They’ve rounded up the best hard seltzer brands in the land for one epic day dedicated to the bubbly brew everyone can’t get enough of.
