Elliott Family Farm
Operating since 1854(!), Elliott Family Farm is committed to making the shift to organic farming. With decades of experience in tow, this family farm is transitioning to organic farming methods, as they believe in the benefits of chemical- and pesticide-free produce. The farm specializes in Southern peas, milled flour, and grains. They sell their peas either shelled or unshelled, and by the gallon, quart, or pint.

Garret’s Legacy Farmstead
Garret’s Legacy Farmstead is a great place for delicious produce. Buying from them not only means getting your hands on high-quality products, but it also means helping out the Goliad community by supporting a beloved local producer shift to transitional farming. This farmstead has grown to provide the local area with fresh vegetables, seasonal fruits, eggs, bread, and even poultry meats. You can check them out at Goliad Market Days, held every second Saturday of the month.

The Greer Farm
Located in Daingerfield, East Texas is The Greer Farm, a farm driven by a belief in the importance of sustainable agricultural methods. This farm first opened to the public back in 1979. Here, you’ll find a huge number of berry trees, as well as plenty of grass-fed livestock. Expect farm-fresh eggs, honey, sauces, jams, and various meat products. If you’re down to relax over the weekend, this family-owned farm boasts lovely accommodation, sustainability-related activities, and delicious farm-sourced food.

Lund Produce Company
In 1991, fifth-generation farmer Kevin Lundgren began to replenish 11 acres of land, with the aim of getting the soil to support healthy plant growth. A neighboring farm eventually introduced shallots to this newly replenished soil. Eventually, Kevin was able to profit from the crop, harvesting shallots to sell to consumers. Since then, Lund Produce Company has expanded to grow a variety of produce – expect Oxblood lilies, broccoli, onions, and corn at this wonderful local farm.

Bandera Grassland
When it comes to grass-fed and grass-finished beef, Bandera Grassland doesn’t disappoint. The meats from this farm are high in quality and filled with nutrients, and are the result of the cattle’s access to lush grazing pastures. The farm’s regenerative grazing methods allow their Texas Longhorns to develop lower cholesterol levels than normal for this American Heritage breed. Bandera Grassland offers both fresh and dry-aged beef, meaning it’s the perfect place to pick up delectable juicy burger patties and tender steaks. And if their delicious beef products don’t tickle your tastebuds, then don’t worry! They also sell pork sourced from feral hogs, which naturally produce leaner cuts of meat.
