Sangiovanni Distillery
Sangiovanni Distillery is a quaint Texas distillery that produces ATX Vodka. Produced in small batches, this vodka is made using water from a private spring in Austin. With a hint of sweetness from the corn it's made from, ATX Vodka has a smooth and sophisticated flavor. This distillery also has a pizza restaurant, meaning you can grab yourself a table and enjoy a picnic with friends and fam! Their pesto, sausage and olive pizza is the bomb. Bringing the kids along? Let them enjoy the oversized Connect Four game and cornhole on offer.

Spirit of Texas
One of the oldest distilleries in the Lone Star State, Spirit of Texas uses only the finest ingredients to produce their Straight Silver rum, Pfluger single malt whiskey, and Pecan Street rum. The latter is a truly unique liquor, as it’s the only rum in America that’s oak-aged with Texas pecans (how long do pecans last?). SoT’s tipples are available at selected liquor stores, restaurants, bars, lounges and nightclubs throughout Texas. Spirit of Texas has also expanded its distillery by adding a microbrewery, making them a true “brewstillery”. You’ve gotta swing by for a swig!

Open every Friday and Saturday, the tasting rooms at Spirit of Texas encourage you to learn a thing or two while sipping on your drink.
Banner Distilling Company
Located on 12 acres of lush farmland, Banner Distilling Co. is a small-batch distillery located in Travis County. The distillery was built from scratch in 2012 by two spirit aficionados, Logan Simpson and Anthony Jimenez. Their aim? To carve out a true Texas distilling heritage. Following their dream, they kept their day jobs and focussed on their distillery on evenings and weekends – and the hard work paid off. In 2014, Simpson and Jimenez released their Banner Organic Vodka ahead of their whiskey products, in order to generate income while the whiskeys aged. It’s good that they did so, as this prized vodka went on to win multiple awards.
Address: 13201 Jacobson Rd, Manor, TX 78653

In 2015, the first bottles of Banner Wheat Whiskey won accolades in a variety of competitions – not bad for a self-made enterprise!
Austonian Spirits
Founded by Lawrence Sasso, Austonian Spirits was the first company to produce “sustainably” matured whiskey. What does this mean? Well, many whiskey fans know about the whiskey industry’s demand for barrels made of oak, a wood that is said to give whiskies their flavor and color. Austonian Spirits thus aims to create excellent tasting, sustainably matured whiskey that uses significantly less wood, thus reinventing conventional barrel aging. This distillery has plenty of titles to its name, winning top awards in the 2018 and 2019 editions of the Texas Whiskey Festival, and taking home a Best in Class Award in the 2017 Whiskies of the World competition.
Address: 12001 Oak Knoll Dr, Unit 5, Austin, TX 78759

While you can’t visit Austonian Spirits in person, you can order a bottle of their fabulous whiskey online.
Nine Banded Whiskey
Distilled in Kentucky and bottled in Austin, Nine Banded Whiskey all started with a few friends gathering for a night out. On this fateful night, they decided to work together to make a whiskey that’s as pure as the bright Texas sun. Their name is inspired by the Nine Banded Armadillo, the official state small mammal of Texas. The whiskeys produced at this wholesome distillery aim to bring folks together, here in Texas and beyond. Nine Banded Whisky has two bourbon products – the Wheated Straight Bourbon and the Straight Bourbon – and they are the Official American Bourbon Partner of the Los Angeles Rams.
Address: 1000 E Cesar Chavez, St #101, Austin, TX 78702
Nine Banded Whiskey bagged a Double Gold at the 2021 San Francisco World Spirits Competition for their outstanding Wheated Straight Bourbon.
